it's about time my favorite time of the year rolled around! i looooove halloween! just fyi. and what is even more exciting than dressing up, carving pumpkins, tons of candy, and pumpkin spice lattes is knowing that after halloween there is only more fun to come. at least if you ask me! tasty thanksgiving goodness (a meal i look forward to every single year), amazing decorations, more delicious starbucks coffee flavors, and lots and lots of family time for the holidays. it's by far my favorite time of year! i know you know this because i've said it plenty of times before. i only repeat this over and over because it's so very true!
i got to take a little trip with two of the cutest kids in the world, drake and paige! we went to a local pumpkin patch at Cypress United Methodist Church, and had some fall fun of our very own! well really they had most of the fun, and i tagged along to capture! but i can't complain, because it's honestly so much fun for me to capture the happiness of others. now.. get excited to check out some of these pumpkin paint designs, they were nothing short of amazing! at the patch, there was a barn of animals, a giant turkey, the sesame street crew, dorothy and her friends from the wizard of oz, a football team, and even woody and buzz from toy story. i'm tellin' ya, this pumpkin patch was top notch! i can't wait to check it out again next year. Cypress UMC also has a fall festival that looks like loads of fun. if you're in the cypress area - or even if you aren't, but are willing to make a little drive, i suggest you check out their patch and their festival! the kid in me had a blast!

panda for halloween!
i am starting to notice a trend....
i just LOVE to be animals for halloween.
last year i was a black cat, and the year before that a bumble bee :) i wonder what i will be next year.. ;D
this is my mock up halloween costume i threw together at the last minute. i had a black and white baseball tee - some black makeup from last year, a black skirt, black kitty cat ears, and tall black socks (actually as you can see, i cannot find one of them - but i am hoping i do sometime tomorrow ;)). perfect for a panda! i am not sure how much i actually look like a panda but oh well! i didn't have a buy a thing, which is nice! some of those costumes can cost a pretty penny. i think i can make the black eyes better when i actually go out tomorrow night, but.. for now it's a pretty good preview.
