i just think it is so perfect, and sooo me :) i really couldn't be more pleased! they made sure to get in touch with me right away and get a feel for what i was looking for beforehand and they did exactly that! so thank you a thousand times to the wonderful sister designers, simona and sylvia, at artsy ants! if you would like your very own banner, i know they would be more than happy to help you out, so go to their blog and check them out as soon as you can! you will not regret it! their blog is all about their art and other art (and artsy-related things) they find inspirational (that you probably will too).

it's almost a new year

before i get into my post, i want to note that i had to move all of my slideshows around on my server. basically, the link is almost the same but requires one thing - you have to put clients. in front of the link. so if a link used to read ellenzilla.com/babydrake, now it has to be like clients.ellenzilla.com/babydrake




okay so in my last post, i lied! in my defense, i didn't know it at the time.  but the last time you heard from me, i had said that would be my last post of the year. however - little did i know something SO exciting would happen right before the year's end. before i spill the juicy details - let me remind you that 2010 has been an incredibly rough year for me. of course, the average frustrations of having a job that relies on technology - and then having it fail on me time and time again - i also dealt with the loss of my grandmother, dorothy and my sister in law, ginger. 2010 will always be looked upon with some sadness because of such wonderful women i lost this year.  because of that, i have been looking forward to 2011's arrival with baited breath, but with less than 24 hours to go - i just noticed i won the artsy ants animated widget give-a-way!!! how can i be mad at 2010 when it ends on such a great note! you guys don't understand - i never win these sorts of things! i usually enter these things with the mindset of "hey, it can't hurt", but usually haven't a second thought about the idea of winning. well, i guess they always say luck comes when you stop looking for it. well, actually, i don't know if they say exactly that - but perhaps they should ;) i know i am going to start saying it!


i absolutely cannot wait to see what artsy ants comes up with for me and my blog! what a wonderful treat. can't wait to also see what 2011 has in store for me and everyone else.
as for me, i have tons of work to catch up on from 2010!
